Fitment & Technical Note:

• Compatibility: This is an AD244-casing style alternator. While it is a popular, near-direct upgrade for stock GM CS130D alternators (often found on 1999–2006 GMT800 platforms), verify your mounting bracket configuration. Some applications may require minor spacing adjustments or a slightly longer serpentine belt due to the larger case size compared to the factory unit.

• Electrical Requirements: Due to the increased amperage, it is mandatory to upgrade your vehicle's "Big 3" wiring (alternator positive to battery, engine ground to chassis, and battery to chassis) with larger gauge cabling (typically 0 or 2-gauge) to safely carry the increased current and prevent voltage drop.
