Full Description
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 enables sophisticated zoom control for the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and provides a variety of controllable functions to meet the needs of videographers. The zoom speed of the DC motor can be finely adjusted in a stepless manner via a dial to provide both rapid zoom action and smooth, low-speed zooming. A separate model, the PZ-E2B, is also equipped with a 20-pin port making it compatible with Canon cinema and broadcast lens accessories. Either version attaches directly to the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens, and draws power from the camera, through contacts on the lens — no batteries are in either PZ-E2 unit.

Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 enables smooth, high-precision zoom control during movie shooting. Featuring a DC motor that provides both rapid zoom action and smooth, low-speed zooming, the PZ-E2 allows for unassisted single-person video shooting operation.
Zoom Speed Adjustment Dial
Easily control zoom speed via a stepless adjustment dial located at the front of the Power Zoom Adapter. Zoom speed can be finely tuned for precision and operability that satisfies the needs of videographers.
Excellent Operability
Easily attach and detach the Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 without the use of a special tool*. Simply line up the positioning pins with the sockets on the RF24-105mm F2.8 L IS USM Z lens and turn the mounting screws to fasten the adapter. The placement was designed so it can be attached or detached even while the lens is combined with a rig, gimbal, or tripod so you can keep your production rolling. A thumb rest attachment is also included for additional hand-held comfort.
Supports Various Shooting Styles
The Power Zoom Adapter PZ-E2 can be used in various ways depending on the videographer’s shooting style or system configuration. Manual operation of zooming is achieved using the switches on the main unit, camera-side operation is possible via assigning custom buttons**, or remote operation via Canon EOS Utility software or Camera Connect app.
